The right to bear arms is a liberty that many Americans strongly believe in. You’ll be surprised at which celebrities defend their views about guns.
Pitt shared his thoughts on gun control following the Colorado movie theater shooting, saying how he feels better having a gun. He doesn’t feel the house is completely safe if he doesn’t have one hidden somewhere.
Norris may be more lethal with just his hands and feet, but still believes in the right to own a weapon. He says he wants violent crimes curbed as much as anyone, but not at the expense of our Second Amendment rights, which are there to protect us.
Depp admits growing up around guns, saying how he would line up a bunch of cans and shoot with rifles, handguns and even submachine guns. He went on to say he will certainly take his own kids out for target practice.
The Texas native “loves guns” and even claims to be a good shot. As she has no children in the house she sleeps with her gun close enough that if she needed to protect herself, she could.
It’s no surprise the Dirty Harry “go ahead, make my day” actor is one of our pro gun celebrities. He has a very strict gun control policy: “if there’s a gun around, I want to be in control of it.”
Jolie has her own $400,000 shooting range and even bought the real versions of the guns she used in Tomb Raider. She confirmed that if anybody comes into her home and tries to hurt her kids, she has no problem shooting them.
The country music star says she’d rather be able to protect herself than rely on a team of security. She had a death threat a few years ago and since then carries a weapon. She says she doesn't want bodyguards, as “I am my own security.”
Sorbo often uses his Facebook page to discuss gun rights, saying how you can take all guns away and the bad guys will still get guns. Bad guys don’t care about any stupid law that is passed - that's why we call them bad guys!
Willis also argues that if you take guns away from legal gun owners, the only people who'll have guns are the bad guys. Even a pacifist, he insists, would get violent if someone were trying to kill her. He believes everyone has a right to bear arms to protect themselves.
